The book The Death Cure is full of action, adventure, and lots of surprises. This book has a lot of text to world connections and let me tell you why. In the book Thomas is in a facility and they only feed him the same thing everyday. Also Thomas is very stinky and he is working out in place. But finally the rat man told Thomas about how every thing lead up to having a cure for the flare. Somehow to Thomas that all makes sense because they brainwashed Thomas before he went into the maze. But now Thomas is getting fresh showers, New clothes, new shoes, and new everything.
This relates to real world because people brain wash other people into beveling into something that is not right. Such as terrorist group, they make their troops believe that some people did something wrong. Also take people that think that they are the best and no one else is better, and they brain wash the people to believe their gods. All in all their are a lot of people being brain washed and that related to my book because Thomas got brained washed to forget anything he saw but he keeps on getting random memories back.
This book surprised me because i thought the rat man was going to kill the team but he is going to give them their memories back. The other thing that surprised me is that the team doesn't want their memories back because their scared of what they will do to them. Lastly i recommend this book because it is full of surprises and it leaves you on the edge of your chair.

Text to Book-The False Prince
In The False Prince three orphans are picked to become prince, the compete and learn how to become the king. In the end the orphan Sage becomes the prince only by his skill in rolling a coin across his knuckles. He then makes demands and requests for his friends lives and freedoms that they call are not killed and they are safely brought with him to the place where he will become the king. He then frees them and saves their lives but at the cost of his master Connors anger.
This book is like the book sting when the must lie and be secretive to accomplish their/his goals. In the false prince Sage/Jaron must lie and be deceiving to become prince to save Carytha. When the main character in Sting has to sneak in the jewelry store to obtain the diamonds for his heist, he becomes just like Sage/Jaron. They both look similar, they both have blonde hair, brown eyes and mischievous faces and personalities. In the end they both are extremely similar in both physical and mental similarities.

Among The Hidden - Text To World
I read the book, Among The Hidden by Margret Peterson Haddix. Among The Hidden is about the population law and how it effects the characters in the book. The population law only allows couples to have two children. Some people in the story have had a third child. The problem is that the third child has to be hidden to stay safe. These children are called the shadow children. If the government, or the citizens where to find these shadow children they would be killed.
Among The Hidden relates to real life in many ways. One way is show by a law in China which prevents its' citizens from having more than one child. Also, in Among The Hidden the mother of one of the shadow children works in a factory the same as the men. During World War I many women did the same jobs as men would due to them being away at war. Among The Hidden can be connected to real life because they have to make choices biased on what they can afford.
Among The Hidden is one of my favorite books for several reasons. It relates to our lives in a variety of ways. Whether it is things that occurred in our past, or in other countries it has many similarities. I feel Margret Peterson Haddix might have been influenced by history. I hope others can enjoy this wonderful series.

text to world three times lucky
Thomas Morin
p 2
three time lucky is a mystery and the main character Mo was born on strange things and they all call it different things but mo calls it her three times lucky because during her birth was during one of the meanest hurricanes. then the first time lucky was when her upstream mother tied her to a makeshift raft and sent her swirling downstream to safety. the second time lucky was when colonel crashed his car a stumbled across mo. third time lucky when miss,Lana took her in.
these all could be just pure chance then their would be some thing like that could happen
now lets see the hurricane that did this to are main character Mo.
the great Galveston hurricane of 1900.
it was the deadliest hurricane to hit america.
it caused 8000 and 12000 deaths.
the hurricane got to Texas.

the kid who became president world vs. world
I am reading a new book called the kid became president. This book is about a boy named Judson Moon who is in 6th grade and his friend named Lane had a cray idea, to run for president.Judson said yes but was joking but Lane was serious. Basically Lane and Judson are on a mission to make America great.
I can connect this to the world because it deals with politics. In the book they have debates. https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/the-fix/wp/2016/09/26/the-first-trump-clinton-presidential-debate-transcript-annotated/?utm_term=.ba6f8b7d5444 (I put this citation because they have a presidential debates in the book. This also proves that in the real world we have presidential debates.
Another connection I can make is the paparazzi makes up lies to feed to the world and get money and it effected Judson Moons life. http://paparazziseffectoncelebrities.weebly.com/dont-distort-my-image.html (This proves that in the real life the paparazzi does make up lies and it does effect celebrities lives, just like it effects Judson in the book
In conclusion The kid who ran for President is very relate-able to the real world. I make many connections with this book.

Echo- Text to World
I am reading a book called Echo by Pam Muñoz Ryan. This book starts with a young boy Otto (50 years before WW2) who decides to go into the forbidden woods just so he could win hide and go seek. He to pass the time decides to read a book about three princesses who were abandoned and he soon finds out the story is true and the three princesses's story hasn't ended and the only way to go back to their home in the castle is if only their souls leave the forbidden woods so they put their souls into a harmonica which takes a really long journey many years later. The magic harmonica is first found in Germany in 1933 by Fredierch Schmidt who instead of going to school works at a harmonica factory and his father is a jew-lover which gets Fredierch into trouble with the law then it switches to two boys in 1935 in Philadephia, USA. Michael and Franklin are Orphan brothers who are adopted by a rich/wealthy woman (Mrs. Sturbridge) who lost her son a few years earlier. Mrs. Sturbridge asked for a girl but got two boys back and was going to keep Franklin but not Michael because before her father had died he had changed his will that if Mrs. Sturbridge doesn't adopt a child within one year she would lose her wealth and money. So Michael makes a deal that if he joins the Hoxie Harmonica band he would leave Mrs. Sturbridge, so Mrs. Sturbridge agrees and he goes and buys a harmonica (it ends up being the magical one) and tries out for the Harmonica band.
This book relates to the real world because in the early 1940's Japanese people were sent to camps after the Pearl Harbor bombing. Americans were afraid there were Japanese spies that were going to attack again and they thought there were spies. Jewish Concentration camps were created by Hitler because of his hatred for Jewish people. This relates to Echo because this gives the point of view from Germany and what it was like and in America what it was like for the Japanese. Finally, I liked how it gave a certain point of view from the fictional characters in this historical fiction book.
In Conclusion, Echo is a 4 part story with a harmonica that travels from Trossigen, Germany where Fredierch Schmidt donated it to an Orphanage in Pennsylvania. Then Michael Flannery after being adopted donated it to Ivy Lopez in Fresno California. Then she gave it Kenny Yamamato an air force soldier who barley survived world war 2. This book talks about world war 2 but with fictional characters. Finally, this book makes me think about how bad it was for the soldiers and the Jewish in World War 2.

insurgent text to world
The book i'm doing is Insurgent which is the second book in the divergent series. The divergent series is by Veronica Roth. This book, insurgent is about, the divergent, the divergent are a few out of many people who live in chicago. The divergent are few out of many who can do certain things that others can't such as know what they are saying or doing during the simulations. The divergent have more than one faction, which they have to keep a secret so no others besides close friends that can be trusted can know that they are divergent. Being divergent can be deadly because most fear them and since they can do things others can't people can use death against them to get the divergent to do things.
The problem is that the government is a bad government. The government in Insurgent doesn't care about the people they care about the power especially Jeanine. Jeanine is probably one of the most feared people because of her power. She uses her power to an advantage so she can make people do what she wants. This reminds me of the world because some of our governments are like Jeanine and the government in this world can do the things Jeanine does. https://www.thenation.com/article/why-is-venezuela-in-crisis/
I noticed how many connections a book can have with the real world. I wish that these governments were better. I'm not sure if these governments would change in a good way. This part was very realistic because it happened in real life. I felt sad when the governments weren't doing the right thing.
